A Resource WEB Site

Computer Terminal Corporation (1968), renamed Datapoint Corporation (1972) as mission and market evolved, innovated many of the concepts that lead to the personal computer revolution. In fact they defined the applications and brought original products to market first, time and again. The first highly successful text video terminal, the first integrated desktop computer, the inspiration for the Intel 8008 microprocessor and Texas Instrument's first microprocessor, the origin of the X86 computer architecture, the first widely deployed local area network, ARCNET, and the first network based operating system RMS, to name a few of many accomplishments.

This site is committed to providing a wide range of resources; history, images, product analysis and documentation, and is dedicated to the minds that pushed the limits of creativity and founded the personal computer era.
